The Pez Outlaw PR Department #pezoutlaw

I see the Rotten Tomatoe scores for a lot of Movies & Documentaries. It is very hard to get 100% on Rotten Tomatoes.
I am on reflection very proud that we got 100%.
And don't get me started how shocking it was to be named Best Actor at the SXSW film festival. I might mention that SXSW is one of the top 3 Film Festivals in The USA.

Before we start I need to dispell some rumors & misconceptions.

"THERE IS NO REAL MONEY IN ANY OF THIS".
Somebody might be making money, but it is not me.
YUP! That sums it up pretty good..

We all think Hollywood Money is this fantasy of riches.
It so is not. I made $5,500 off the Documentary. That's it.
$5,000 for the rights & $500 for acting.
I also made approx another $2,000 on props I was given & sold.
No regrets, I would do it again in a red hot minute.
I only mention it because some people have some very wild ideas & are spreading rumors. I have no idea why, but because of the gossip I felt the need to set the record straight.

Phase 1. The above has already happened.
phase 3. is the Pez Outlaw Musical. People of worth are working on this.
phase 4. is the book. Everything needed is already on my blogs.
phase 5. is Pez Corp make the Pez Outlaw Dispenser for over the counter sales.
each thing depends on the previous thing.
These things are my goals for the Pez Outlaw character.

My Journey would have been impossible without the internet.
Prior to computers & the internet people like myself had no recourse to fight back. Big Corporations could do anything they wanted to you & you had no avenue to fight back.
I am blessed that there was a synergy of timing & the moment between my experience & the internets birth.
I am indeed very Lucky.
The internet has given a voice to even the smallest of us.

The Pez Outlaw Book rights for $100,000.00 Are available if you are a publishing House & interested. I can be contacted through facebook. Sorry I do not own a telephone.

From 1994 Thru 1998 I believed I could do no wrong.
I thought that I had the world by the Tail.
We all know how that worked out, severe poverty for the next 20yrs.
Not many of us get a second chance to do better, I was lucky.
That's why I have never watched The Pez Outlaw Movie on Netflix & Amazon Prime.
I need to keep him seperate from me so I can watch over him.
Make very certain the steps he takes are not stupid or Foolish.
And make very sure he is grateful for his second chance to do better. It's a gift not to be squandered.

So much just goes right on by me.
It's not that I care, I think that I do it on purpose.
I just hunt for the simplest & easiest solution, Then just keep on walking.
I try best I can to keep my eye on the bigger picture, The Goal.
The small stuff is just a distraction, Fix it fast & get back on point.
It may look as though I am Happlessly going along, but I am not.
Nonsense is my Distraction while I wait. These things take so much time. Decades.
#1 in my mind is always the plan. Everything I do serves it in one way or another.
I made this decision a long time ago. I have no regrets.
Crazy is useful, if you apply it correctly.

The Pez Outlaw Movie made the top 10 on Netflix.

I will rest when I'm Dead. Until then, I will use every day God Gives me to try n accomplish my dreams.

I know that I'm relentless, please forgive me.
It's the only way That I know for sure to get it done.
For 20yrs I've been doing it this way.
So when I'm asked "How did you do this?"
Be Relentless.
Some will see what you do 100 times, but some will only see it that 100th time. They are why.

When I started out I used to go from McDonalds to McDonalds asking the same question trying to buy premiums.
This is where I learned the rule that I live by.
It takes 100 no's to get that yes, so every no is 1 step closer to YES!
Relentless is the Key to winning.

Truly, People will get annoyed by your methods, But this is for your family. Joshua n I have a saying, would you walk in a septic tank up to your chin for your family. For Joshua n I there is only one answer. Yes, whatever it takes..

The Pez Outlaw

This incredible fish-out-of-water story follows the adventures of Steve Glew, a small-town Michigan man, who boards a plane for Eastern Europe soon after the fall of the Berlin Wall. His mission is to locate a secret factory that holds the key to the most desired and valuable Pez dispensers. If he succeeds, he will pull his family out of debt and finally be able to quit his job of 25 years. Steve becomes the hero of his own adventure, smuggling the rarest of goods into the U.S. and making millions in the process. It was all magical, until his arch-nemesis, The Pezident decided to destroy him.

I woke this morning to the realization that our timing is perfect after all. The mood of the country is perfect for Pez Outlaw.
This movie has everything people are experiencing. People are wore down, fealing defeated, they need hope. At its core the Pez Outlaw story is a story of Hope. Even people who shouldn't are dealing with mental issues now. People are gonna identify with the character n figure He's Like me n if he can make it so can I.
This was always my Goal.

I have worked very hard for 50yrs to get a handle on my mental health issues. No Doctors n no drugs, just inside my brain n changing as much as I can. Understanding what's going on n when.
I do not recommend this to others. I talk n write very publicly about all of it. This helps me process the experience n remove the shame n guilt.

"My problems are the ones I prayed for", 2 decades earlier.
The Eyes of Texas are upon me.
You Don't know something until you do.
Then it Plagues your mind.

When you deal with mental issues you have good days n bad days. Mostly though you settle for middlin days. Yesterday was a bad day. But like clockwork a good day rolled around. The good days make everything else worth it. When you are low remember the good days, one will come soon.

OK, About the Pez Outlaw Movie.
I have been Blessed by this, It as you know took 20yrs n it could have ended very differently. 5 yrs ago it almost did.
The Good News is that The Pez Outlaw Movie is really well done.
The Bad news It's really good.
I've waited n worked 20yrs, I can wait another 6 or 8 months.
We all know what we took part in n we saw the love n friendship of the Pez Community, Lets show the biggest audience we can.
All the News I get about the Pez Outlaw Movie is Very Good.
The right people want to see it n be involved, Bryan keeps saying how this or that thing are the 1st time for one of his Movies.
I am Blessed.
Pez Corporation You have behaved very well, Thank You.
Our eventual meeting will go much better because of it.

It is very rare that you do something in your life n have nothing but good memories of it.
I'm at peace with everything now. Shooting the Pez Outlaw movie gave me closure. I honestly don't care what happens from here out. Nothing OK, Something OK.
I'm at peace. The Documentary is enough.
Shooting the Pez Outlaw Movie was nothing but Fun.
More than I ever coulda hoped for.
A very Big Thank you to Bryan n Amy Storkel, The Cast n crew for everything.
Most of all for the good Memories.
It exists n that's enough, that it exists can not be taken from me.
That's probably why I am in no hurry or pestering Bryan by saying When Bryan.
Also a big shock to Joshua, Moriah n Kathy, because I seem not to care anymore.
I'm gonna tell you a secret. For years prior to Bryan n Amy Storkel deciding to make the Pez Outlaw Movie, I prayed to my mother who passed decades ago for her help. She came through n I made promises which I will keep.
For Good n Bad, My Mother was always in my corner n it got a bit bad sometimes.

Our Friends Making the Pez Outlaw Movie Just won an Emmy for Alabama Snake. So our projects people have just won an Emmy.
To be precise Britton The tall Camera guy won it for lighting and production design. But if you were on set for our movie you know how much of a collaberation everything is.
And to think just the other day nate n bryce were rolling hay bales over Britton.
Congratulations
Britton. Now will you quit sitting in the middle of busy streets to get a shot.

Sometimes we see things with a Magical Eye.
And Why Not.
If Life is just a dream, Shouldn't It Be One We Like?
"Time to Bunny Up!"

The Documentary is of course about my travels n experiences Smuggling Pez into The USA from other countries, But it will also be about so much more.
Struggles with addiction, mental health issues n Love.
The Journeys we all take in life, Our hopes n dreams of doing Better.

Life is the Journey you see n the one you allow others to see.
My Belief right or wrong is tell the whole story, until you bleed. Hold nothing Back, same as the way I write. I tell everyone I meet with Mental issues to keep a journel n dig around in your brain for everything. For them in private, My method is to do it publicly to shed light for others. I have the luxury of not worry ing about what others think of me. I'm more concerned with what I think of me. I accept that you n others will see what you see n believe what you believe, but I must tell the whole story to shed light. I will admit to you that people I love wish that I would hold some things back, but how do I tell the story if I do not tell the whole story.

I can't begin to tell you how happy it makes me that I've finally been given permision to tell you all what's been going on over the last year. I've waited 20yrs to be able to speak these words out loud. You Know I came close to not making it here. Without the support of so many people I would not have, Especially Tina Christison Gunsauls, she lifted me up when I needed it most. To everyone else, Our journey has finally begun, I hope you enjoy it as much as I will.

People are going to ask me once all three to five phases of my Dream are accomplished.
How did you do this?
The answer besides working very hard for 20yrs every day, is actually quite simple.
My Journey as an Outlaw began way before Pez Outlaw.
My secret is to Find a loophole, a vulnerability within a Corporation.
I did this with Mcdonalds, Cereal Premiums n with Pez Corporation.
All had gaping wide holes in how they did business, which I exploited without mercy until they figured out what I was doing n closed them
With The Pez Outlaw story itself I found another vulnerability that I can't share till we finnish, But needless to say I have been stretching this loophole as much as I can.
It's just the nature of things, each reveiled themselves when needed.
I think being Crazy is the key to seeing them.

I know that it sometimes isn't Pretty, But we do what we must for our families n the dream of a better life.
After what I've been through n what my failure cost Kathy my conscience is clear.
I will use all methods I've learned to try n make it up to her.
I Owe her My Very Life.

KARMA
Karma temperature check time. Kathy bought 10 lotto scratchers so we could see where we are at with God? 5 for her 5 for me. The middle scratcher on my 5 I won every line. I didn't just get one winning line, I got all 5. before you get to excited for me, they were each for $2.
But guess what that means my Karma is farely neutral, so kathy won't have to pick bad embers outa my aura. Generally no impediments, which means it depends on the strength of my work n the character Pez Outlaw.
There is hope that I've served my time n the Universe will allow me back in.

Bad Hard times are not accidental, in my case if it took 20yrs, well that's how long it needed to take. During that time you are given a choice to change or stay. I chose to change, work on myself n get better. Forgive everyone, Delete anger from your program n move forward.
I chose peace.
Thank you all for your good wishes.

It would appear that we have n are naming this tshirt,
You may not know but the 1st one was named ZIG-ZAG Pez Outlaw.
Ok! Here's the image for the new White Tshirt.
What do you think?
1 small change. ink will be royal blue ish on white tshirt. not black

I just realized a second ago how symbolic this image is.
I create the character Pez Outlaw n you my friends, Color him in.

HEY BUDDY!
So what we got left to do before PEZAMANIA?
96 banks n 99 Pez Outlaws.
Need a hand? Well if we had hands.

It must be the nature of things that what you've worked years on seems so old n repetitious to you, yet when finally presented is brand new to others.
They're still whispering, but I promise Soon they will speak.

As I near the completion of my dreams, I realize that having a dream is actually more fun than achieving it.
A dream is full of promise n possibility.
Realization is just to finite.
I remind myself that it's about Legacy.

Over The next Year or 2 you are going to see many amazing things. I never would have made it here without Tina Christison Gunsauls. Cindy Heistand. Kathy's sister Joyce. Laurie Svendsen. I love you all Thank you.

thanks to Bryan n Amy.

Anything Worth Doing, is worth over doing.
I Live North Of That'll Do.
I've got so many projects that I've dreamed about for years. I can't wait to get started.

I had a dream again last night that The Pez Outlaw Book was Published. I actually held a copy in my Hands.

Pez Corporation.
I'd like to introduce you to the Pez Outlaw Collection/Set of 4 dispensers.

That's what I like about the internet, every day is brand new.
The past can be tossed aside as irrelevant n begin anew.

Events have not changed my work ethic. When some would relax, saying I made it. I've been working twice as hard. Last time I was told relax WE Got It. Well they failed. I trust My work for result, we are here because of my work for 20yrs. PERIOD! Right Greg.

Pez Corporation.
I need something good to sign n give away at 's Pez Convention next year
You know why, any interest?
Please convey if you have Pez Corps ear, God knows I don't.

Life Does Not Have To Be Real, Just Plausible.
It's not what you actually know that scares people.
It's what they fear you know.

Welcome to the Twilight Zone. As random statements go, that got a weird scale 10.

Recently someone talked to me about a Ghost writer for Pez Outlaw Diary/The Curse Of Pez Outlaw Gold. I think that they better get started real quick. The reason is I fear my memory is not so good anymore n only getting worse. Example; I've told you how I used to hide money everywhere n honestly don't believe that I've found all of it. Well the same thing goes for stuff/collectibles. I keep finding things that I thought I was out of for years.

Pez Outlaw Update

Here we are 5yrs later. The 1st proposed movie project has passed into the history books, but a new project has created a new path.

Mostly though I wait, then wait some more. It seems like the interest level is very high, but time, time is the enemy.

Recently there was a week or so that I doubted that I'd see it happen. Time felt like it was passing to fast. This has been a very long road.

Big names keep popping up. Impressive past project pedigrees. Yet I wait. I had no idea 20yrs ago when I started this project what I was actually getting myself into n definitely no concept of how long it would take. Every step is a year out to 1.5yrs out.

Old friends come, Old friend go. Excitement surges only to go out with the tide. Still each day I return to my desk n do my work.

A guy writes a story then thinks that he owns something that it took me 20yrs of hard work to create. His moment has passed in my story.

A new breed of Documentarians has shown a great deal of interest in the Pez Outlaw story. To be precise 4 of them in just the last year. A new direction filled with hope toward my goals.

I must tell you, watching these guys work, they are completely nuts. N that's coming from me. I absolutely love them. Observing the process has given me a new perspective as I watch the Alaska n Hammer shows.

Time though is the constant. How long everything takes vs how much I have left. There are days when I can hear the clock ticking as the seconds slip away forever. 20yrs ago I was young n still immortal, today I question the time that remains.

I just want to be around long enough for Kathy n I to enjoy the fruits of my 2 decades of labor. Time is the enemy. I no longer doubt the outcome, I do though doubt time.

I will admit that I was impressed by the ideas of Sony Pictures n not so much with the 1st studio. Both have stepped away for now. I've learned one thing in this process, folks return. 1 has rolled back around 3 times in the past 7yrs.

The latest group is impressive as they all have been, So many have Oscars etc. Big names are tossed about like confetti. When I say big I'm not shining you on, the latest was in the top 10.

I have no idea how all of this will play out. To be honest most will be on a separate tract from me. There is Pez Outlaw n there is me. I will never watch anything created about me, I literally do not look in mirrors. If I watched something created about me, the damage would be irreversible.

Did you know that Documentarians call Hollywood movies, "The Narrative", as an indicator of there preference. Mine is the book, that's what i'm waiting for, I have no idea why I hold this Bias. Actually I do, in my mind it's the symbol of leaving something meaningful behind after you've gone.

Anywho, I think that I've been careful enough writing this that the pissed off level should be acceptable. That's the thing about waiting, once I found my voice writing, it's what I do while I wait n wait n wait. That's actually where this blog came from, I began writing it 5yrs ago while waiting for the 2015 Playboy story to be published n continued writing in Notes From The Asylum while I waited for word of Go/No Go from Warner Brothers.

2021 should be a very good year.

All words from my mouth past n present are quotes from Pez Outlaw Diary n Notes From The Asylum.

I can't talk about Warner Brothers.
I can't talk about Sony Pictures.
n I can't even mention the 3rd one.
I can only say I had 4 offers to do a documentary about Pez Outlaw in the last year/FULL STOP!

Once Documentarians realized the rights to the Pez Outlaw story were available, I had 4 offers in 1yr.
In response, After 3 offers for the Hollywood Movie, The rights are still available at this moment.

The Pez Outlaw Tin Lunch Boxes

In a lot of ways my life been filled with moments best forgotten.
My brain is like a restless night tossing n turning during every waking hour.
That said I have had my moments.
Pez Outlaw

I wish that there was some way that I could take you back with me to that time when the Pez Outlaw Adventure was unfolding.
Driving through MOVAR at 3am, the peace n beauty of that moment like I had captured it in a snow-globe.
The drive south from Traun through the Alps to Llujbliana n Ormoz.
Pulling up to the plastic factory surrounded by very long lines of cars picking up parts for home assembly.
Walking through downtown Gyor on my way to Pizza Hut for supper.
All of these memories have there own triggers to my senses.

I know that I actually lived these experiences, yet they seem somehow to be from a movie I watched.
My life as Pez Outlaw is somehow becoming less real to me.
Pez Outlaw took me from the factory to a life that eclipsed my wildest dreams.
The last 20yrs have made Pez Outlaw seem a fantasy I might have told myself as a child.

I honestly after 20yrs don't know what to make of it all.
The 100 trips around the world, the millions of dollars earned then lost in one monumental day, the story written about Pez Outlaw in Playboy magazine (every little boys dream), then the near Hollywood movie about Pez Outlaws life.
I mean really, What do you make of something like all of that when you are an old man.

I will I guess make peace with it all, but it really does seem like somebody else's life, not mine.
Much older today it really was quite an adventure.
The more time that passes & further away that life gets, the more unreal it all seems.

It just dawned on me that Notes From The Asylum is probably a better version of Pez Outlaw Diary.
Within Notes From The Asylum is probably the Pez Outlaw Diary that I'd prefer published as the book.
not all of the asylum, just the best n most applicable posts as chapters.

Notes From The Asylum has now after less than 5yrs ONE MILLION views.
Woulda been even better if I'd gotten $1 or even 10cents per view.

From Pez Outlaw

As Pez Outlaw I earned over 4.5 million dollars in 11yrs.
I traveled the world, at least 100 international trips buying approx 800,000 pez dispensers and smuggling them into the USA.
In my years as Pez Outlaw I bought n sold well over 2 Million Pez Dispensers.

In 1998 I spent over $500,000.00 on Pez Dispensers blissfully unaware that this one move would result in the destruction of my lifelong dream.

I now believe that Jeff Maysh n David Klawans were right that I'm not the best voice to tell the Pez Outlaw story.
I think that there approach to reaching a larger audience was the correct way.
It doesn't matter that it's to late, for what I do here in the Asylum it is very important to say you were wrong when you know it to be true.
Indicators over the last few months have shown me that this is true.

That said to correct the record.
We continue.

Thank you Tina Christison Gunsauls for prying me out of seclusion, only you could have done it. I literally told everyone else no.
Remember I'm no longer a dealer, I gave away as many Pez as I sold. It was that Kind of show.
People gave me Pez for my collection n endured my insistence that they sign them, more about that later.
So you know Jim Blaine 's Pez Convention was nothing short of AWSOME.

So many good people, I'm blown away.

Pez Outlaws adventure searching for PEZ is truly a rich story worth telling. South Africa, Australia, Sweden, Finland, Switzerland, Germany, Spain, Hungary, Slovenia, Slovakia, Czech, France n Austria.

The secondary goal of Notes From The Asylum is to flesh out the character Pez Outlaw so you have a more complete picture of him n what makes him tick. The principle goal of the Asylum is to promote the story of Pez Outlaw.

Pez Outlaw Diary

Notes From The Asylum...  the current residence of Pez Outlaw has over 1350,000 views

Do you have any idea how many times that you must say the same thing to barely be heard.
Politico's will appear on all 6 Sunday shows in a weekend, yet come Monday a lot of Folks have no idea that they said anything.
I post daily saying things over n over again picking up a couple thousand views per day, yet barely being heard.
It amazes me, 20yrs, over 1 million views in less than the last 5yrs, still picking up new viewers every day.
On facebook I get new followers every few days that are new to the Pez Outlaw story.
So we continue

My Bucket List
1. Pez Outlaw Movie
2. Pez Outlaw Book
3. Appear on/in a Panel discussion with John Devlin, David Welch n John Laspina.
4. Appear on/in a Panel with the ex-president of Pez Corporation Scott McWhinnie.
5. RETIRE!
6. Buy a new Tractor, move poo, dirt n crushed concrete till I Kick said Bcket.

How do we get a Pez Outlaw Pez Dispenser made by Funko?

After Pez Outlaw, I intend to retire.
