The Pez Outlaw Movie is on Peacock & Amazon Prime.
Something happened today, It reminded me of the Marx Brothers.
The Marx Brothers started out in vaudville, there 1st 3 movies were Plays that they had worked on n performed Live for years n years. They used this method with a lot of there later work also, so by the time it came to filming they knew what worked n what did not.
I have done the same thing with my blogs, twitter n facebook.
I watch all the numbers, shave n refine accordingly.
Shaping the Pez Outlaw character. It's not about changing the story, it's about knowing what to emphasize n what is boring stuff.
Another key ingredient is that people like the character, his family n his friends.
I call this the NCIS rule. The plot line is just a device, why these people are together in the 1st place. Thing is you don't really care who killed who. The part you are there for is Gibs, Tonie, Zeva n Timmy' there interactions there stories.
I never told Bryan how or what. I simply brought the story to life n paid attentin to what works n what does not in my writing.
How many shows do you watch for a decade if you do not like or love the characters.
One Final thing is things change, when they do you must adapt quickly. Something you were working on as a hobby or for yourself AKA Notes From The Asylum. Can be your best work. If you are paying attention, you move it forward as your new showcase for your work. Mind you only the 1st haf of it is say good, But the bottom half has bits n pieces.

The Toned down version
From out here, we all figure Hollywood wines n dines perspective properties.
It's the irony of our perception of Hollywood n the reality I'm actually talking about.
When someone tape records/interviews me.
My words are from my writing,
If NOTHING happens after the Documentary, I'm at peace with that.
The Documentary will be enough.
I will support this Documentary in any way I'm asked.
Beyond that I just don't care anymore.
I had a lot of money once n it changed me, I really don't like him.

To My Children n Grandchildren, Be especially tough about the work n acredidation.
Also be a stickler about Merchandising. Low up front is fine, but get the pennies per. They matter.
